About The Big Bodyshop

Russ Thorn established the business as Aylesford Accident Repair Centre in 2008 after working in the motor repair industry for over 25 years. We then extended the range of services offered to customers to include full accident claims management.

At the beginning of 2010 he went into partnership with Peter Waddell - owner of Big Motoring World and renamed the company The Big Bodyshop. Since then the business has experienced rapid growth, becoming BMW specialist repairers, whilst still maintaining our friendly small business values.

We are members of the VBRA (Vehicle Builders & Repairers Association) and OFT approved.

In April 2011 we were awarded PAS: 125 certification - the BSI Kitemark for vehicle repairs - this means we have been certified by the British Standards Institute ensuring our repairs are of the highest and safest standard possible.
