About The Big Bodyshop

Russ Thorn established the business as Aylesford Accident Repair Centre in 2008 after working in the motor repair industry for over 25 years. We then became Call Zebra approved repairers which enabled us to extend the range of services offered to customers to include full accident claims management.

At the beginning of 2010 he went into partnership with Peter Waddell - owner of Big Motoring World and renamed the company The Big Bodyshop. Since then the business has experienced rapid growth, becoming BMW specialist repairers, whilst still maintaining our friendly small business values.

We have recently received VBRA (Vehicle Builders & Repairers Association) Membership Certificate Structural 1B UHSS Steel - the highest category achievable.

We are currently working towards PAS125 the industry accredited BSI Kitemark.
